Properties of its elements: Relax Pro contains a very high dose of L-tryptophan, an amino acid that in the body turns into serotonin, also known as the "good-humor hormone". Tryptophan is also directly involved in the synthesis of kinurenic acid and derivatives (a set of substances that have a neuroprotective action). Tryptophan is naturally contained in spirulina algae and in foods such as meat, dairy products and nuts. Today it is believed that the integration with the tryptophan can have an adaptogenic effect. L-tryptophan is also the precursor of melatonin, a substance that governs the relationship between sleep and wakefulness, generating serenity (44). It can therefore be said that the integration with tryptophan allows to intervene on the character of the animal. Tryptophan is an essential amino acid, which means that the body is not able to self-absorb it: it can therefore be taken exclusively through nutrition and proper integration, as it has been for many years in humans and, in particular, in child (44). To increase the relaxing effect, Relax Pro is added with dry passiflora extract. In humans, the dry extract of passionflower has a proven anti-anxiety effect.
